CBSNews conducted a poll of registered voters and found that only 13% of them believed that human beings evolved without the guidance of God. Another 27% believe that evolution occured, but with God's guidance. Appalling, really.

Then again, I saw a "nutrition expert" on the local news tonight being interviewed for her holiday eating tips say that "most adults gain 5-7 pounds during the holidays and never take it off." Which, of course, couldn't possibly be true unless all those 500 lb fifty year-olds are in hiding.
